Our defense keeps showing up to play. We have a legit D-coordinator. Can’t say the same about our O-coordinator.

He is the guy who did not have our guys ready for the two plays that made the difference in last two games. JMU-double reverse flea-flicker to open third q and USM- the 98 yard pass play that completely turned the game around. We are better this year but still the same inconsistency

Howard looked good but I can't see how anyone on offense would want to play for him. Did anyone notice the temper tantrum he threw every time a pass wasn't caught? Sure most of them should have been caught but he wasn't throwing that same tantrum when he threw the INT.

Accountability man. All three of those drops were horrible. I mean you have to question if guys should be playing if they can't consistently make catches like those.

And yet…our offense has scored 0 points off of 5 turnovers those two games. You can point to a couple big lapses by our D, but that’s going to happen. They, and their coordinator, have way outperformed our offense and its coordinator.

Because someone finally caught the ball when he threw the int. So no “tantrum” necessary.

Maybe maybe not. He also threw a pass before that should have been intercepted too. I see that some have blamed throwing into the wind for the one that was actually intercepted but the wind had nothing to do with it. He threw it right to the defender. The dude is a gun slinger and makes some questionable to throws but he still gives us the best chance to win imo. The one that Dennis missed over the middle was the one that hurt the most.

……my biggest worry is recruiting..we are the lowest ranked team out of the 4 (lsu, ltur, ULM, UL)…..we need to finish strong to get some good HS, Jucos, and NILers……so we have the facilities and other recruiting incentives of all but one and need to capitalize…….I think about that 98 yard pass and it reminds me of ltur’s run by Dixon? And our Johnson that started from the same place!

Turnovers and penalties hampered the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in a 22-10 loss to Southern Miss at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium on Saturday. The Cajuns threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. They also committed eight penalties for 70 yards.

After 7 games played you'd think we wouldn't still be reading headlines like this. That's what you read after week 1 or 2 but we just don't seem to have any improvement at all through the course of a season.
