Geaux Cajuns
Cajuns win 2-1. Congratulations, beat one of the better teams in the SBC. https://ragincajuns.com/sports/women...boxscore/15053
ODU dominated statically except where it mattered.
Standings incomplete, several teams yet to play their weekend matches.
Redshirt freshman Carson Glenn extended her scoring streak to four matches, converting her lone shot attempt for a go-ahead goal in the 64th minute to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Soccer team to a 2-1 win over Old Dominion in a Sun Belt Conference match on Friday at the Home Bank Soccer and Track Complex.
The soccer team is a blast to watch, it is free, and they really appreciate all the support you give so get out there for their last home game and cheer them on. Let's show them some appreciation for their hard work and good season!
Presently in 8th and final tournament spot.

2 games left and it looks like they've pretty much locked up a berth in the tournament. Not sure how many points you get for ties/wins. Any chance Coastal wins the next 2 and we drop the next 2 and they pass us up?
Louisiana Soccer just continues to grow.
So proud of our Lady Cajuns!
They play divisional but SBC tournament time they’re seeded by record. Technically 8th, in a 3 way tie for sixth.
Mathematically the bottom 4 are eliminated today. 9th and 10th still in play but a long shot.
Want to know why some, like me, get disgruntled with WSOC at times? This program has never made the NCAA tournament or even won the regular season. Excuses abound, some think Lafayette is some great talent hot bed. Casual fan gets all excited just making the conference tournament for over 20 years + and counting.
There’s 2 matches left. At Troy, who is already eliminated. Must win.
And here’s my point, the last match is against the team in first place today, from that “hotbed” of Louisiana soccer, freaking Monroe. Seriously, if you know anything about soccer in Louisiana, this is unacceptable. A perennial doormat in first. How does one get so much international talent to Monroe…and win?
And we’ll get a release in two weeks how great it is making the conference tournament.
Aim higher and mean it.
