True it cant be outlawed but it can be worked around and try to still win the old fashioned way. Look at mlb the #23 payroll is the #1 seed and hosting the NLCS. Study how they did it.

Im not sure they ever got to the bottom of franklin's involvement in the vandy rape case
Franklin's Penn St. firing is reminiscent of the Mark Richt firing at Georgia. Both won a lot of games for a long time at programs where eventually winning a national championship is expected. The amount of these long term fired HC buyouts are absurd. College athletics needs to rethink the long tail on these HC contracts.
Our “friends” to the east are working the rosary beads real hard. At least one national publication has Brian Kelly as the most logical choice to replace Franklin. Kelly is from that part of the country is the logic behind that.
I just look at UL softball getting ravaged roster wise. Indiana took a ton from JMU, USM/Marshall. Want to see a big school have to start over.
To drop 3 games in a row with the supposed talent PSU has, either they are greatly over valued or internally something was happening.
Good idea..... they could try to even the playing field the old fashion way too, how about set a certain NIL threshhold and if you are above that you remain at 20 practice hours allowed or maybe go down to 15, and if below you get 25 or 30 hours. Could even sell it not as losing practice time but giving the NILers time to work on their craft...or even be sure they are enforcing the 20 hours to begin with, with all these "grad" students and online students meeting with the "analysts" all morning should probably count as practice time
None of that is happening
Interesting..... doesnt mean how things are are always the best way
