    Louisiana Baseball came up short in both ends of a fall doubleheader on Saturday, dropping 6-4 and 6-5 decisions to visiting Rice at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

    There were only 2 "games". Usually play 14 or 18 innings with multiple lineups.

    First basketball then baseball losing exhibition games that are supposed to be an indicator of the coming season. We got all hyped up for basketball, then get trounced by UNT. Volleyball loses twice to Ark State. Football is on a losing streak. Are we winning anywhere?

    Last I checked exhibition games do not count. Let's wait for the regular season before we make any determinations on how good we will be or not.

    The softball team did not lose to Northwest Florida today. They tied 6-6.
