AGREED! Des said they went for it because they wanted to win the game. The blocked field goal in the first quarter really hurt us.

There were 4 seconds on the clock. I was all for going for it, but with a quick pass into the endzone.

We either:

Make it for a touchdown;
Miss it and go for a field goal;
Interception.

There is absolutely no way I would run it there. JMU had already showed us quite a few times that we could not run on them. Let's quit being stubborn and be more creative.

Losing the lead with 14:46 left in the third (when JMU tied the game with half a game left) was a big momentum shift compared to losing the lead with 12:33 left in the fourth which (if no other scoring had changed) is what would have happened if UL kicks the end of half field goal.

The game is 60 minutes no reason to try and win it in the first half.

This entire coaching staff is a joke! Not taking the 3 points right before halftime was a sure tell the coaching staff has no idea what they are doing.

To not allow the team to have some positive momentum by kicking a field goal and taking a 10 point lead into the half and having a 2 score game was a huge mistake and one of many this coaching staff has committed this year. By getting stopped as time expired before half gave the momentum right back to JMU.

Not recognizing Lunch's talent by this same bunch of idiots coaching UL is another uncalculated and sloppy mistake.

Tigers and zebras don't change their stripes! If someone out there thinks that this coaching staff is going to pull a rabbit out of their ass is sorely mistaken! We can be as wishful and hopeful as possible, buts it's clear the results will be a lost season.

This poor excuse for a coaching staff should have never been allowed to happen! Way to go Maggard!!

1) Des gives Lunch free reign in running the zone read option plays and quits micromanaging the offense.

2) Lunch stays healthy.
