I watched the CAJUNS play a team that was expected to beat them by at least 17.5 points. While they outscored the CAJUNS 17-0 in the second half, they still only won the game by ten. I got to watch most of the game and was proud to see how the CAJUNS played this team, in jmu's own yard, AND on TV!!!

I was not able to watch, but in reading the line score I suggest a coach doesn't try to win the game just before the half.

We need to bid for several experienced OL and DL from Portal. Watching our current guys attempt to run block against average to above average DL this season is painful.

Our skill positions are overall competitive. We need more OL bigly.

This entire coaching staff is a joke! Not taking the 3 points right before halftime was a sure tell the coaching staff has no idea what they are doing.

To not allow the team to have some positive momentum by kicking a field goal and taking a 10 point lead into the half and having a 2 score game was a huge mistake and one of many this coaching staff has committed this year. By getting stopped as time expired before half gave the momentum right back to JMU.

Not recognizing Lunch's talent by this same bunch of idiots coaching UL is another uncalculated and sloppy mistake.

Tigers and zebras don't change their stripes! If someone out there thinks that this coaching staff is going to pull a rabbit out of their ass is sorely mistaken! We can be as wishful and hopeful as possible, buts it's clear the results will be a lost season.

This poor excuse for a coaching staff should have never been allowed to happen! Way to go Maggard!!

AGREED! Des said they went for it because they wanted to win the game. The blocked field goal in the first quarter really hurt us.

What coach doesn't want to win the game? Don't make stupid calls.

Defense played good. The DC knows what he is doing.

Special teams needs work. Bad blocking, and silly penalties.

The offense needs some tweaking. JMU has a tough run D, but I think we’re using Lunch wrong. Everybody in the stadium knew he was going to run on short yardage. We need to open it up more. Our OL is not going to power open holes anymore. Des needs to dust off that zone read option play and really let Lunch read it. We have something going with the deep pass. That can only get better the more that option run is successful. We need to quit micromanaging the offense with dump passes and designed dive runs.

Bad is bad and no sugar coating in the world can make this season any better.

There are ZERO warm and fuzzies after another poorly coached game and another loss. A loss is a loss; period. Only a moron would consider this game a positive outcome. LETS ALL PAT OURSELVES ON THE BACK FOR ONLY LOSING BY 10 POINTS! YOU MUST WORK FOR THE PATHETIC, ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT!
