Not really true. That was all Napier. Yes, he was hired by Maggard but now we see it was just blind luck. Maggard, in another blind move, extended Des for essentially one winning season, in which we were clobbered in the championship game and embarrassed in the bowl game. Also, how many bowls have Des won with him being head coach? None. Don't expect any this year either. Interim coach doesn't count.

I can read the arguments on both sides here, but my question is why are there not more complaints about kirby smart, he gets more money, has more accolades. Has more assistants and analysts, yet looks like an out of control mad man, who has no idea what is going on, almost every second of every game especially against inferior opponents
