I agree NIL has changed college sports so much and the Cajuns are not benefiting from it like I wish we would. But, if it were my kid, I would want him or her to have every opportunity to play wherever they want to and make as much money as the free market would bring.
Let’s face it, before NIL the NCAA was making all the profit and an athlete might be the top player in college, get hurt in his or her last game, and limp away with relatively nothing but arthritis.

Like most things in life, NIL is good and bad at the same time. Jmo

Maybe for athletes, but the majority of people i know seem to try to teach kids hard work and building for a long term plan, not cashing in on something like nil or playing lotto. ...
Also what happens when "wherever they want to play" and "make as much money" are not the same place

I think playing college sports is hard work. Of course any athlete can choose to play wherever he or she likes. I would rather them be faced with a decision as to where they play than being stuck playing where they aren’t happy and aren’t being compensated, or being forced to sit out a year if they transfer.
