And the play calling thing. If we gain yardage, good play call. If we don’t bad play call, and never poor execution or good defense. This may or may not apply to you, but I’ll bet most of those saying that couldn’t begin to explain why the play calling was good or bad.

I had a grandmother who asked why they always ran where the people were. That’s what I think of when I hear bad play calling.
I said several things like that, which are true. Lunch willed that win on his own. Reminded me of Vince Young getting a win against USC by shear will, his. Do not mistake his outstanding performance, we were lucky. All the deficiencies that we suffer from are still there.

This was my first thought while witnessing probably the greatest and guttiest comeback in Ragin Cajuns history. This as well as it coming at a perfect time when we desperately needed a leader to help the whole team man up. I am sure that I am not alone in seeing this night as possibly the Turning Point of our season and Program Trajectory.

It was an incredible performance by Lunch. We are fortunate to have him on our team.

So no credit, only blame for Dez. Got it.

If not, then yes. Coaches aren’t being responsible.
    No game next week.

Coaches historically credit players when the team wins and bears responsibility when the team loses.

Lunch was awesome!!! Next game the opponent will game plan for him, not Beale. We shall see how that impacts his ability to make plays.

We will be huge underdogs at JMU. Hopefully we can get some guys back on the OL and WR

Watch these highlights until the end, Daniel Beale comes up to Lunch and hugs him, the first words out of Lunch's mouth are, "I love you, bro". That is awesome, the guy who got benched celebrating with the guy who willed a team to victory, and they both are supporting each other. This could have been a time where Beale could have been angry with the benching or Lunch could have made it about himself, neither did, they both know that they are not bigger than the team. Great moment, that is about leadership and support right there. Proud of both young men and how they reacted to this situation.
