Great to see Lunch perform and lead us going forward.

But, we gave up 51 points. Our defense is really suspect. Our D Line gets pushed around, our LB seem to be always out of position and DB are missing tackles.

Our DC needs to get his sheet together.

D Line is hot garbage.

Most underperforming area on the team.

Let’s let him play a game start to finish before we start talking like that. I’m pretty sure the coaches knew he was talented but obviously there’s something they’ve seen in 3 years of practice that determined the decision. I’d be willing to bet he’s the starter next week. If not, then yes. Coaches aren’t being responsible.

Fair enough. Maybe he comes down to earth with a defense who prepared for him all week. Still, there was a glaring difference between how Beale has played since Week 2 and Lunch with less than a full half.

Lunch had no significant opportunity to show anything in a game until the third quarter on Saturday.

Campus needs to utilize Lunch branding.

There isn't anything (that I know of) mktg Cajuns Football on campus (that I've seen).

Good opportunity to do so.

I'd give that trophy to the linebackers.

Watching highlights from Missouri and Marshall and they are consistently getting their ankles broken, whiffing on tackles, jogging in pursuit of plays on the other side of the field, running into the backfield only to realize the running back is already through the line, etc.
