UL offensive line coach Steve Farmer didn’t look discouraged or in panic mode when asked Tuesday about the status

  2. UL Football Louisiana looks to reset in Sun Belt opener against Marshall

Louisiana didn’t envision a 1-3 start to its season, but that’s the reality as the Ragin’ Cajuns enter Sun Belt Conference play this week. Two of those losses have come in one-possession games, and injuries have added to the team’s challenges.

Only 7 OL listed in the depth chart including 2 freshmen. That is concerning.

I've said for decades you can never have enough linemen.

For pro teams unless the draft was lacking, I would always use the fist pick on linemen.

  5. UL Football Preview: Louisiana vs Marshall

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns open its 2025 Sun Belt Conference Football schedule on Saturday night when it plays host to Marshall at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the game available on ESPN+. Dan McDonald (play-by-play), Eric Mouton (analyst) and Ben Schafer (sideline) will call the action. Fans can also listen to the broadcast on the Ragin' Cajuns Sports Radio Network with Jay Walker (play-by-play), Cody Junot (analyst) and Dawson Eiserloh (sideline) providing commentary.

The SBC opener for both teams provides the first meeting between Louisiana (1-3) and Marshall (2-2) since the 2024 Hercules Tires SBC Championship Game with the Thundering Herd prevailing, 31-3.

Louisiana dropped its final non-conference contest last week in a back-and-forth 34-31 loss at Eastern Michigan while Marshall won its second straight game with a 42-28 victory at Middle Tennessee. The Ragin' Cajuns look to snap a two-game losing streak that began with a loss at nationally-ranked Missouri.

Over the past four weeks, we have been running an experiment using artificial intelligence and its ability to project, forecast, and predict the outcome of football games played by the University of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns.

    Marshall 31 - Louisiana 19
    [A.I. Prediction]

The robots of A.I. have spoken. So far, when they've spoken, they haven't been exactly correct, so for the sake of Cajun fans, I hope they are wrong on this one, too. But more importantly, we'd love to have you out at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium on Saturday night for tailgating and football. The weather should be great, the crowd jovial, and the football very entertaining

After losing 3 quarterbacks, Coach walked to the end of the bench and saw Boudreaux. He said, Boudreaux can you pass dis ball??? Boudreaux said, Coach, if I can swallow it I can pass it.
