I guess if you want to lie about non-degree seeking students and include them. Then sure.

But to get 19k you have to include “attendees” to UL seminars and furthering education. Non-degree seeking is not a student.

Non degree seeking is indeed a student in many cases. People seeking to become certified teachers are taking regular classes, they just won't get an additional degree

so can p4 count all these nil transfer portalettes as degree seeking?

instead of rcaf and season tickets everyone should sign up for a non degree seeking continuing Ed class, get an ID, go to games free and raise the enrollment #, win win

Anyone taking a course at UL is a student, including on-line. Do you think universities with 50,000+ student don't include everyone?

    Yes, actually they do.

FIU has 54,000 students. 49k are degree seeking students.

UT Austin has 55k students 42k undergrad and 9.9k graduate students.

LSU 34.5k undergrad and 7.5k graduate students.

So yes we inflate our numbers to look bigger than we are. It’s sad, that we find ourselves doing that. But hey we have 38% of our student population consisting of “under represented” peoples. Whatever the F that means.

You should check your numbers. 34,000 is about total at LSU.
Troy has over 20000 students. They count US military taking all types of courses. Same for Maryland. I don’t look at total I look at growth of UG and Graduate school. Especially in Engr.
The most distressing number sit at UL. It’s at UNO. Another significant drop. Bad for the metro NO area and the state. We’ll see how LSU helps them. First sign is that it appears their name will go back to LSUNO. Know your place I guess.
