One thing that really bothered me in this game outside of the squib kick was the last drive with Lunch. Why would you give up on a drive just because you started with a penalty? It's bad enough that he calls predictable plays with Lunch in but to mail it in and not even attempt to throw the ball on a third and long is unacceptable. That tells me you don't either don't believe in your players or are intentionally calling a failing play to teach Lunch a lesson. That's a bad look, especially when he only got a delay of game because he was trying to adjust his teammates to what the defense was showing in order to make a play. Something this coaching staff clearly has a problem with.

The entire game was a cluster ......That was as embarrassing as it gets.

After this debacle, MAC schools will have our phones ringing off the hook to schedule us. Don't fall for it! Even us being short handed at QB this was a winnable game. With the weak strength of schedule you'd think half the conference games are winnable but now that's much in doubt.

Also, Why even announce that you are using Lunch every 3rd series? We know this does not work from the past. Also, it seems to throw off the O Line as they would get False starts when this would occur probably because a different snap count/caller.

Seems cajuns have a high yards per carry, 5 and over every game and some over 7, i feel like this has been asked a million times, but in the context of play calling why not run the ball more. I realize the defense changes, etc, etc, other situations down and distsnce and score, but still, why not.
