Leaving has always been the best part of New Iberia….
Did Des address the squib kick in his post game? The more I think about it the more I’m trying to tell myself it was a mistake. But that’s a pretty intentional play and just an absolute blunder with 40 ish seconds left and 2 timeouts.
They dont care about the common fan. They care only about their big donors. Well, they finally got their luxury boxes. Now they can all sit together. Separate from the filthy commoners, while they stroke each other...staring out into an empty stadium. They are absolutely giddy right now, so don't expect them to pay you any attention right now.
Not the only thing that cost UL the game, but it was a blunder of monumental proportions. The execution may have been poor, but to call anything other that a squib at that moment would have been the right move. Poor call and execution, UL just gave the game to them at that point...
I believe they changed kickers, from L. Klotz to B. Schultz. No idea if this was due to Klotz not being able to kick off deeper to prevent the good field position EMU was getting or if he was injured. Schultz did the squib kick.
A new low. God forbid we even send a text message to Ed Orgeron much less a phone call. That would require testicles.
Only thing worth going to the belt board for.

As unproductive as UL’s passing game has been through three games, the Ragin’ Cajuns enjoy a significant upgrade in that area — and still lose 34-31 to Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
The painful irony certainly wasn’t lost on coach Michael Desormeaux.
“It was good to see that part of the game look a lot better,” Desormeaux said. “Certainly to see some of those guys make some big plays. That’s certainly a positive, but it just wasn’t frequently enough, I guess, as an offense to be able to continue to tack on points.”
that is rich!
