I don't know about baseball, but softball had maybe 400 in attendance. $2K is still not much, but with the budget cuts, every little bit helps.

T, now - the same 10 or 15 have been complaining for years about stuff smaller than that - to me when you can never be satisfied about anything related to a progam, the logical solution is to find another to support (and I use support in its loosest sense)

Its not the same 5-10

There is some overlap, but every individual sport has its own fan base.

The administration knows this, which is why they schedule football, baseball, and softball at the same time this past weekend.

I have concerns and crazy solutions too that I don't think anyone else mentions, but none of which includes sending fans to other schools.

it is not our prerogative (yours or mine) to send fans to other schools - it is just mentioned as a voluntary solution, to be taken solely off their on respective volition if being a fan of Louisiana makes them so miserable and unhinged as to continue to find the need to exert negative energies against their once beloved university . . . to continue repetitively and incessantly along the path which they have chosen to proceed is neither good or healthy for their own respective bodies, minds and souls or for the minds, bodies and souls of Louisiana, its other fans, it’s supporters, it’s students, it’s faculty, its administrators, it’s players and it’s coaches - who all do, on a day in and day out basis, try to give their respective own positive efforts - all for and on behalf of their university . . . nothing more - NOTHING LESS

It’s just a hard pill to swallow when the University misappropriated $25M in funding. So the it’s just optics.

It’s really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

It’s really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

You always play to your strengths, so I am not totally surprised by the offseason softball move.

At the same time Volleyball and Soccer are giving away regular season games.

Perhaps they should pass a plate for all three.
