Thread: Maurion Eleam

  1. UL Football Maurion Eleam

During Louisiana football's first road game of the 2025 college football season at No. 25 Missouri, its safety Maurion Eleam was carted off the field due to injury.

The 5-foot-11 and 166-pound junior appeared to be blitzing off the right edge and Missouri's Cayden Green fell on top of him while blocking. They brought out a stretcher and a cart onto the field for Eleam after he went down with the undisclosed injury. He was lifted onto the cart and seemingly raised a fist as it drove off the field.

Any single other location in the 8,294,400 square inches on a football field and Maurion scores that touchdown.

Except any other location on the field and the mizzou player is not extending and exposing the ball

    True, well almost.

Perhaps not the same and definitely not on Saturday with Mizzou, but I've seen lots of games with extentions trying to get a first down.

I’m sure Maurion Eleam is a tough kid. But 166 lbs in there with 324 lb giants is an injury waiting to happen. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious, and he gets better quickly.

I know the kid has worked so hard to get his spot and much respect for that, but:
My son holds his own, but is considered a small kid in High school football as a sophmore at 166 lbs in 3A. Can't believe this kid is out there in D1 football at 166 lbs. Get well soon young man.

It could go without saying that Maurion knows the feeling of getting a big fumble return called back.

At the same time while there is no residual due to the call back, Maurion absolutely knows the 'feeling' of a successful 99.99 yard fumble return for a touchdown.
