    Ahmad Hardy rushed for a career-high 250 yards and scored three touchdowns while No. 25-ranked Missouri scored on its first four possessions of the game and defeated Louisiana, 52-10, before a sellout crowd of 57,321 Saturday afternoon at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium.

    Beau Pribula completed 15 of 22 passes for 172 yards and accounted for three TDs as Missouri (3-0) recorded 606 yards of total offense.

    Louisiana (1-2) averted a shutout in the second quarter when Cameron Whitfield picked off Pribula, leading to Tony Sterner's 34-yard field goal with 6:22 remaining.

    After Hardy scored on a 71-yard run to give Missouri a 35-3 lead, the Ragin' Cajuns quickly answered with Zylan Perry ran up the middle untouched for a career-long, 84-yard touchdown.

    Perry gained 84 yards on five carries to lead Louisiana with Steven Blanco gaining 31 yards on seven attempts. Jaden Dugger tied a career-best with 11 tackles with a sack while Tyree Skipper, Terrence Williams and Jake St. Andre added eight tackles.

    Louisiana returns to action on Saturday (September 20) when it travels to Ypsilanti, Michigan to face Mid-American Conference member Eastern Michigan. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT and will be available on ESPN+.

    Postgame Notes – at No. 25 Missouri (Sept. 13, 2025)

    TEAM
    • The loss snapped Louisiana's six-game win streak in road games - its first since a 31-24 decision at Troy on Nov. 18, 2023.

    • Louisiana lost the coin toss; now 1-2 on the coin toss.

    • UL team captains – Terrence Williams (linebacker); Cooper Fordham (center); Nathan Torney (punter).

    • The game against No. 25 Missouri was Louisiana's first against a ranked opponent since playing No. 20 Florida State in 2022.

    • The announced crowd of 57,321 was the largest for a Louisiana road game since 2022 at Florida State (58,597).

    • Three players – Matthew Broussard (left guard), Brent Gordon Jr. (cornerback), Drenon Fite III (linebacker) – each earned their first career start, increasing UL's total of first-time starters to 11 through the first three games.

    OFFENSE
    • Zylan Perry's 84-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the longest rush of his career and tied for the ninth-longest run in school history.

    • Perry's run was the first of over 80 yards since Zeon Chriss at UAB in 2023.

    • Offensive lineman J'Marion Gooch – a former member of the Mizzou team – made his Division I debut at left tackle.

    DEFENSE
    • Brent Gordon Jr. had a career-high six tackles in his first career start.

    • Maurion Eleam had a 98-yard fumble return for a potential game-tying touchdown in the first quarter wiped out after video review showed Missouri's Marquis Johnson crossed the goal line for a touchdown.

    • Cameron Whitfield's interception in the second quarter was the first of his career and snapped a Missouri streak of 76 consecutive passes without an interception to start the season.

    • Trae Tomlinson's sack of Beau Pribula in the second quarter was the first of his career.

    • Jake St. Andre had a career-best eight tackles for Louisiana

    • Chase Edwards (5 tackles) and Priest Ashe (4 tackles) each posted a career-high.

    SPECIAL TEAMS
    • Nathan Torney set a career high with nine punts, eclipsing his previous high (8) set at Southern Illinois (at Northern Iowa) in 2023.

    • Brek Schultz made his collegiate debut for Louisiana, opening the second half with a touchback on his first kickoff attempt.



  2. UL Football Mizzou Offense Crushes Louisiana Defense En Route to Monster Victory

    There was never much the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns could do to stop the Missouri Tigers on either side of the ball. In fact, the game was never really close at all.
