You must be incapable of reading comprehension if you’ve read through this thread and still have to ask the question if we expected to go toe to toe with Mizzu.

The issue isn’t a lopsided loss. I think vast majority of us expected that. What has been stated over and over again in this thread and others, which you either didn’t read, don’t understand, or are still being intentionally obtuse, is that we didn’t even have a semblance of trying to compete on Saturday.

Four freaking yards passing. Four. After gaining five on the first play.

We were playing Missouri, not the 85 Bears or 00 Ravens.

That is inexcusable.

It was time, so UL coach Michael Desormeaux had no problem with the team leaders to speak to the squad Sunday.

It was the day after a humbling 52-10 loss at Missouri to fall to 1-2 on the season.

“I want the leadership to lead, so of course,” Desormeaux said of his response to the gesture.
