And at Va Tech, it’s getting bad enough I saw a headline today “Exit Sandman”.

    Now that's some B.S. (VT)

As for my Psyop (rolling through campus blasting Metallica) this morn, I turned it down (Sandman) on approach to Cypress Lake. Good thing too, everybody was asleep.

UL is a State institution, and that means UP are actually State Police. This makes their jurisdiction the entire State of Louisiana.

With that said, they don’t typically touch anything that’s not on or near UL property.

Here you go…this one I remembered seeing today. Thought Napier had problems?

    Exit Sandman

Virginia Tech's second-half collapse in a 44-20 home loss to Vanderbilt underscored the painful reality of how far the Hokies have fallen since Frank Beamer's heyday, as they were outscored 34-0 by the Commodores after the break. The Hokies are now 0-8 against Big 12, Big Ten and SEC opponents under fourth-year coach Brent Pry.

There’s another “Exit Sandman” out there showing the students bailing en mass.

    - Yes they are bored. Especially at 4am. UP doesn’t do a lot of everyday crime fighting. A lot of what they do is behind the scenes to make sure campus is safe. Safe campuses are boring.

    - Yes, you likely broke the law.

    - Yes, he could have given you a ticket.

    - A police officer watched you break the law and he didn’t give you a ticket. And you’re upset about this?

    - I don’t think UP has a bad rap and I don’t think this incident gives them one.

Damn! That's interesting. Old VT with Beamer/MikeVick is over. I don't know, maybe we should steal Enter Sandman for entry in The Swamp.

These huge turnover games are when these upsets happen for sure. It's pretty much what we're gonna have to rely on Saturday. Find a way to come out alive at Mizzou, then take Enter Sandman from VT. That would make for one hell of a wknd for the Cajuns. Need about 4 turnovers. Better make it 5.

Yes, he COULD have given him a ticket, but it would've been dismissed. (I know cause I had one dismissed for that very same thing in the early 90's) Cops break the law and violate people's rights all the time. They arent this bastion of truth and justice. And yes, of course, there are good officers. I have friends in LE from city, to sheriff, to state, to FBI. And in private, they all talk about the level of corruption in law enforcement. Sadly, many are grossly ignorant of basic law, and a large portion are more interested in ego enforcement than law enforcement.

Spoken like someone who’s never dealt with UP mall cops

Wrong, they are University Police, not State Police. They are commissioned as police officers under POST, jurisdiction is not statewide for any traffic or misdemeanor. They attend the local academy, not LSP.
