12 noon is the time I remember watching all the big games when I was a kid.

What is the reason for moving the game from a 3:00pm kickoff to 12:00 noon kickoff?

Due to "extreme heat" in the forecast as per Mizzou Athletics on X

While relatively speaking it will be hot but 3 and 4 pm are the hottest times of the day.

4 years into a rebuild, we should be competitive, but unfortunately, we are light years away from winning this game.

3-4pm is the hottest temp of the day but it is residual heat from the generatvive heat of the 12-3pm sun rays.

The generative heat of 3-6pm is actually way less than 12-3pm is. It's residual not generative.

I'd rather work in a slightly warmer temp than feel like the heat was being created on my neck.
