A win under its belt is just a step in the right direction for Louisiana football after an unexpected start to the 2025 college football season.
No starting quarterback Walker Howard, a 1-1 record and now the plot thickens as the Ragin’ Cajuns’ first road test is also their lone Top 25 matchup of the season.
They hit the road to face No. 25 Missouri for Week 3 and it’ll be the biggest test for all phases of UL’s game.
The Missouri Tigers (2-0) came from behind three times, rallying from deficits of 21-6, 24-21 and 31-28, on the way to a 42-31 victory over the Kansas Jayhawks (2-1) in the StorageMart Border Showdown at a sold -out Memorial Stadium.
It was Mizzou' 10th victory in the last three seasons when trailing at some point during the second half, its 21st straight non-conference home win, and the Tigers' 12th home win in a row overall - extending the program's longest home winning streak in over 80 years.

The Tigers remain at home next week to host the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. Game time on Saturday, Sept. 13, is 3 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. The sold-out game will be televised on SECN+/ESPN+.
3pm, bwahahaha 25th ranked, a p4, and even they have no scheduling clout

On one hand, coordinator Jim Salgado’s unit is giving up only 12 points per game, and it’s hard to argue with that bottom line
