Beale is a pure pro style QB, but so was Wooldridge. The staff seems capable of managing a passing QB.

I don't want a Heisman winner. I want a guy who can make basic passes and reads. This offense is not relying on him to make multiple reads or huge plays but he seems incapable of making basic throws. The one TD throw he made was high and thankfully we had a long receiver that could bring that ball in

He threw for over 8700 yards and 120 TD’s with 3 state championships, I think he can make basic passes. It was his first start

Every quarterback benefits from a strong running game and good defense which appears to be this team's strength. Since Beale's a freshman needing playing experience realistically, he's a work in progress. If he can keep mistakes to a minimum, we have a chance to win some games.
