So are they moving the music back underneath the tree? For one, I hope so.
The new location for the band kills the tailgating spots on the opposite side of the road. You can't carry on a conversation with the band playing, kind of like inside the stadium. Oh well, we'll see how this impacts future games/seasons for the folks being blasted back to their patios to watch the game, in peace.

This is a very valid point. We don't go to the Alumni tailgate anymore, just because the band plays on the other side of the brick wall. You can't hear or be heard while they are playing. It's even worse on the other side.
They (the bands playing) should set their volume to a level that is sufficient for their audience, not as loud as they can. It is just being courteous to the tailgaters around them.

I liked it under the tree better. New location, not so much. Decision makers should get input. A survey would be nice.
