Staff finally plugged in a third RB and wore McNeese State down.
Outside the 19 yard pass to Wade, UL’s longest pass plays were defensive PI.
It’s a separation win, covered the spread, probably won’t see McNeese State at Cajun Field until after stadium is completed. Beat a team UL should never lose to.
I don't want a Heisman winner. I want a guy who can make basic passes and reads. This offense is not relying on him to make multiple reads or huge plays but he seems incapable of making basic throws. The one TD throw he made was high and thankfully we had a long receiver that could bring that ball in
Attendance tonight??
This feels much better than last week, but I’m having a hard time seeing 6 wins at this point. Maybe Beale figures it out, but I also didn’t see a lot of open receivers either.
A win is a win, and I’ll take one any day, but we’ve got a lot of work to do.
I like our receivers outside of Sampson. He's going to give way to other guys over the course of this season for various reasons. We have separation but timing is a big issue. I'm in agreement though, I don't know where we see 6 wins at this point.
Beale would look a lot better if his receivers would create some separation....
