42 - 14 - Cajuns. The real team shows up and we have the emergence of a strong backup QB squad. Running game tees off on em.

I would not be surprised if this game is decided by one score or less.
Viator knows what Marshall did with UL's QB play last year. And even though DB was thrown in cold against Rice, there was no light at the end of the tunnel to be seen.

Anyone thinking this game is an automatic win is mistaken.

I sure hope not as the odds are not in our favor in one score games with Coach Des at the helm. Coach Des is 4-12 in one score games as UL HC. He just can't win them much at least thus far.

No automatic win, but this is a gut check game for the OL. We SHOULD be able to power out a win if we need to with the run in the second half.

A thrilling come from behind victory.
We're not scoring 37 points. Going to have to do this with ball control and defense.

Correct. At this point, I'm not even sure I have the Cajuns winning this.

We need to score early and get ahead of them. The defense needs to be good for all four quarters. We need to be up by 2 scores in the fourth. I haven’t seen anything that makes me believe we are a team that can come from behind in the fourth quarter. Coach ‘em up Dez! Go Cajuns!

Coach Desormeaux likes to go by the book which makes it hard to come from behind, because they have the book too.

The two point conversion in the third is by the book but it sends a desperation message to the team that we won't score again.

Kids in their first C game ever feel the desperation pressure way more than anyone. ...
