Yes, it's pathetic, but it's very simple. Fans, and I know plenty of them, want to be associated with winners. UL does not give fans that association. People will point to last year or other winning seasons. People (fans) aren't totally stupid. If it's against easy G5 teams, nobody really respects that. Just because you win 9 or 10 games, don't make you a great team. You have to win big. You have to win games you aren't suppose to win. You have to win important games. We don't do that. UL will not get the kind of respect or fans following by just beating McNeese (if we even do) ULM, or Georgia Southern/State.
