yes i will grant you their high was higher. But their lows can be lower too. I didnt say better i said consistant.
Meanwhile even their cotton bowl season can be debated, they were only 11-2 and got selected, we were 12-1 the year before and didnt, then finished with 13 wins.... timing, luck, committe popularity, etc, etc goes into it as well

Also if a p5 was selected for CFP, their conference was always granted an additional bowl slot to back.fill that conf. Slot in rose, sugar. Etc etc.
Why when G5 cincinnati was selected for CFP, another G5 team was not selected to backfill the NY6 spot, which should have been cajuns.

Plus since they were already selected to move up to p5 before this, it is almost as if by choosimg them, the CFP was taking the playoff money away from G5 coffers, so they probably shouldnt have counted as G5 anymore and cajuns shoyld have had an NY6 G5 slot that year.

I actually look forward to the day when we are semi-close to being a playoff team and then watch the committee do gymnastics to send someone from a larger market to avoid the embarrassment of UL losing by 50 to Georgia
