The QB and receiver play was the worst it’s been under Des. They had no clue and for an offensive minded coach, how do you explain that after months to prepare?

With the ball and a chance to win, I wanted so badly for Beale to get some redemption. Just get some yards and get a FG. Complete a pass and hopefully we break one. Dude went 0-6.

While I picked us to win, I always think of worst case scenarios. Can’t help myself. What needs to happen for the game to go sideways? Last night, seemed like everything I thought of played out. Feel good about what we’ve been told about this team, but what if the offense is out of sync? What if we turn the ball over? What if Rice has success running the ball and controls the clock? That end zone assessment is off the mark. Yes, seats available but in no way weak. And you forgot to mention student section b/c it doesn't fit your narrative. It was the best it's been since before Covid. Huge student turnout, and that was without half the greek.

Louisiana football didn’t expect to be shell-shocked in its first game of the 2025 football season in new Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium vs. Rice.

If a 14-12 loss to the Owls wasn’t bad enough, the Ragin Cajuns’ starting quarterback Walker Howard exited the game with an unknown injury. The dual-threat slinger went down with no contact and was able to limp off the field on his own, but didn’t return to the game.

Also #6 WR, is on his way to being the worse WR in Cajun history, those catchable drops were pathetic. Then you have back to back holding penalties
