I’ve heard none of the offense wants to play for #4, bad teammate and doesn’t understand the offense. I guess tonight proved that. Hopefully next week is better.
UL’s stadium-opening party was spoiled by Rice’s triple option rushing attack in a 14-12 win over the Ragin’ Cajuns on Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium.
The Owls rushed for 213 yards — 187 in the first half — and their defensive front got the best of the UL offensive front for the road victory.
This game reminded me very much of the first 2 seasons under Des. If we see more of what happened tonight I think we can call last year’s success a fluke.
Des can’t beat Rice, that says a lot. Poor coaching, poor preparation, poor execution, especially on offense.
