Right. No one outside of the defense was on the same page. Rice is not a good team. They gave us chance after chance to do something on offense. Just horrifying. No one looked like they knew what was going on when we had the ball.

No success running the ball, no wins. Even Ben and Chandler would not have won that game with how poorly we controlled the line.

Y’all do realize the kid was only put in when y’all’s Lafayette hero quit on his team. #4 ended that game before #11 got in.

There is a reason #4 has never had meaningful reps the last 4 years he’s been in college

Both lines got dominated in first half. Offense got dominated are on line in second.
Defense played a different game in second half. Different motor? Schemes seemed the same on defense but something changed. Offense couldn’t take advantage of the opportunities they were given. Punt return game shows some promise but holding is a killer. Hurt field position twice in critical moments. And the hold by our off lineman that caused nullifying Beale’s run was likely the play of the game. O well, it’s only one game. Lots of games left. We’ll get em next game. We’ll see great improvement between this game and next. What else am I leaving out?
Please don’t make me watch a loss next week. Too many bad memories from the sixties.

Yeah, body language says a lot. No one on offense was playing for him like the team would play for Ben or Levi.

The whole offense stunk. OL, RB’s, WR’s, QB all looked pathetic. The coaches can take a lot of credit for this.
