its only a $65 million dollar renovation, a tremendous effort in filling every seat and no Sororities will be at tailgating or in Cajun Field. Really fires up student tailgating when the Sororities don't show.

I was told today that my niece will not be at the game tomorrow because the sororities are going through rush and they do not allow them to go to the games during rush. This makes absolutely no sense at all. We are begging students to get involved. How they came come up with this is beyond me!! I am dumb founded by the stupid decisions some people at this university make.

If it before school starts how would everyone be there for it? Should probably be a week later, but they would likely always miss something

Apparently it’s like this at many universities across the country. Arrived early. Move into temporary housing in some cases. It’s like training camp for Greeks.

Same with my wife. Was a week before school started at UL to not conflict with other stuff.

Texas State has the same bull____ going on this weekend. Hosting Eastern Michigan, but all day sorority recruitment junk this weekend. You'd think the schools would encourage the greeks to to this stuff at least on an away weekend.

Just asked my daughter in law regarding the Texas State policy. She is a recent grad and still active with their DZ chapter. Not only are the girls rushing ABLE to go to the game, they are highly encouraged to go.
Hopefully just some poor communication at UL regarding this policy interpretation. Otherwise it’s beyond STUPID!
