They can technically go to the game. (I just learned that a few minutes ago)They just can’t go to any of the tailgate parties or partake in any of those beverages that college student do on game day. They can walk in at game time and leave afeterwards. No pre or post game partying during rush. Thats like telling a college student you can’t go to the game. At least that is the way my 2 daughters interpreted it when they told me earlier in the week they couldn’t go to the game Saturday. You talking about 2 girls that grew up at Cajun Field and ML Tigue Moore.

My wife was in a sorority not incredibly long ago. Apparently, what they are able to do during recruitment is limited. She was surprised that recruitment is going on now and not at or before the start of the semester. When she was there, it was the week before school started.

This must have been a university decision to hold it this week. Which is poor planning on their end. Go figure.

Same with my wife. Was a week before school started at UL to not conflict with other stuff.

Texas State has the same bull____ going on this weekend. Hosting Eastern Michigan, but all day sorority recruitment junk this weekend. You'd think the schools would encourage the greeks to to this stuff at least on an away weekend.

Thats the way it was when I was in school. I used to coordinate busses to got the rush candidates from the union to the row. Now they start rush after school starts and are up until early hours in the morning and have to attend class. My wife and I were just saying they should go back to the old ways.

its only a $65 million dollar renovation, a tremendous effort in filling every seat and no Sororities will be at tailgating or in Cajun Field. Really fires up student tailgating when the Sororities don't show.
