Thread: NFL: Not Cajuns related, but I gotta do this

  1. NFL, NBA, MLB NFL: Not Cajuns related, but I gotta do this

Shadeur Sanders will get to start against Carolina this Friday. I don't know why so many people tried to low rate this guy. I absolutely believe he was the best QB coming out of college this season & I think he was punished by several teams who needed QBs including the Saints because of his daddy. He will make them pay for their narcissism. This young man is going to be an outstanding professional football player & win a lot of games in the NFL. If he starts 15 games this season, the Browns will be this year's Washington.

it is ironic…… on the one hand they say they dont like his dad’s coaching style or him himself, but then all angst is dropped and many many prayers lifted up for him.
also to the LCA hate crowd on here, what do you think about the basically created HS just for him.

TB, that will forever be your new nickname....I don't think this will age well, similar to your take on Arch Manning.

There is a reason the Browns who had 5 QB's on their roster including Deshaun Watson, Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco who have all started games in the NFL and two 2025 draft choices added a former starter in the NFL in Tyler Huntley, they can say all day long that it was because Pickett is banged up and Watson is getting a happy ending while on the PUP list, but the reality is that the Browns have zero confidence in any of the 6 guys who are currently on the roster. Flacco is 107 years old and might be the best QB they have, Pickett has tons of upside with his athletism, but has not shown anything to date, Watson well enough said, Gabiel is 4'2" tall, Sanders is not mature enough, proven by his 2 reckless driving incidents in 1 month and the fact that even with all of the QB's on this roster, rather than bringing a camp arm to just hold a spot, they actually went out and tried to get a guy who is capable of starting in the NFL and has started multiple games in the NFL.

If they had confidence in any of the QB's on their roster they would have signed a random bum off the streets, but they actually brought Huntley in to compete.

I think him starting the preseason game is to see what he has, because they know what they have in Pickett, Flacco, Huntley and Watson. What they don't know is how Sanders and Gabriel will perform with the lights on and unfortunately Gabriel is banged up so they still won't know.

I think if healthy the Browns start the season with Flacco or Pickett behind center and based on what Sanders does in the preseason he might be the first arm off the bench, but I do not think the staff in Cleveland truly believes in any of the 104 QB's they have on the roster right now.

I know I’ll regret responding but this is quite possibly the worst take in Ragin Pagin’s illustrious history.

I'd say the best take was a couple years back with Napier and we had the nation's longest winning streak and someone diagramed a plan to allow dogs into CF with the logic being if we can get as many dogs as possible into a game, we'll see a major uptick in the amount of females in CF "because chicks love dogs", therein leading to more males purchasing tickets.
