Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns head football coach Michael Desormeaux, offensive coordinator Tim Leger, defensive coordinator Jim Salgado, special teams coordinator Mike Giuliani and strength and conditioning coach Connor Neighbors met with the media to review the offseason and preview camp.

If you watched the Leger portion at the podium for media day you have to wonder why he blatantly lied to the media when he said that Jefferson was the only one in the room that ever registered a 21 MPH on the helmet monitor and all the rest were 19-20. I was personally told, by a staff member, that at least one kid registered 21.9 MPH on a regular basis. After seeing the press conference and being a little shocked by the lie I asked the kid and he said the same thing 21.9. He also mentioned a couple of kids at other positions that broke the 21 MPH mark. Not sure what the coaches motive was speak untruths in his interview?
