Louisiana men's basketball announced the first non-conference schedule of the Quanna White era on Thursday, featuring a pair of NCAA Tournament teams from last season and the first meeting with an in-state foe since 2009.
Fans will get their first opportunity to pack the Cajundome when the Ragin' Cajuns open the home slate on November 7 against in-state foe Southeastern, after starting the season on November 3 at Ball State as part of the previously announced MAC-SBC Challenge.
The Cajuns then host Tulane on November 11 in the first meeting between the schools since 2018. It'll be the first time the two sides meet in the Cajundome since 2009.
Louisiana hits the road for the next four games, including a swing on the West Coast. The Cajuns travel west on I-10 to face McNeese on November 14 before heading to the coast to take on Stanford on November 18. The West Coast trip continues on November 21 at Santa Clara before finishing on November 24 against UC Davis. The month ends when the Cajuns host Jackson State, led by 13-year NBA veteran Mo Williams, on November 28.
A pair of NCAA Tournament teams from last season visit the Cajundome in December. UNC Wilmington, defending CAA Champion, comes to the Cajundome on December 6. The Seahawks have been a consistent winner over the last four seasons, with a combined 99 wins. Joining them is Norfolk State, which has won 111 games over the last five seasons and made three NCAA Tournament appearances, who comes to town on December 28.
Rounding out the non-conference schedule are a pair of road games in December. Louisiana opens the month at Lamar on December 3 and also hits the road to face Louisiana Tech, with that game in Ruston taking place on December 13.
