Same here. Listened to majority of games on the radio starting in 1972 until late 70's. Starting in 1973 attended an Astros home game almost every year until the last few years. Cesar Cedeno was my favorite player in the 1970's.

Not really, but who really cares?

Look at all the people who responded here indicating there are some who care. I gave you a history of their broadcasters and a rundown of how they are one of the most successful professional franchises for over a decade.

Had a bobble head from a game in the mid-60's and one name I remembered at the time was Rusty Staub.

1988, Dodgers v Astros. Mike Socia hit a bomb and Orel Hershisor was on the mound.

Astros come back to win it late. Been a fan ever since.

Cedeno was my favorite early, then came JR Richard. Morgan also a favorite until he was traded to the Reds. Hated him then. Love the game Cedeno hit for the cycle against the Red's in I think 1972. I listened to that game on local radio.

Nothing says classic broadcasters like having so many, not much longevity?? And big time fans not knowing how to spell their names, lol

James Rodney Richard was my favorite Astros pitcher back then. Terrible what happened to him after the stroke on and off the field.
