my dad was all about mays, was meh about hank. still remember him bemoaning mays having to hit bombs to get balls out of candlestick while hank was wristing little flies out of "that bandbox in atlanta."

I think the Astros have actually been in the playoffs 8 of 9 years if you count the Covid Year of 2020. They managed a winning season that year due to a strong playoff push. At this point they are 15 games above 0.500 and in first place in their division by 4 games. They are on track to have their 11th consecutive winning season which is one of the best marks in all of professional sports. They are doing fine without Tucker and Bregman due to some smart trades in the offseason. Trades made today may make them stronger post season challenger. To answer another question question, Tucker was part of the 22 championship team but not the 17 championship team. Josh Reddick was the right fielder in 2017.

They just went all in at the deadline and didn't even give up a top 10 prosepct. Got correa back. Adding a great LH outfielder and another utility guy. If Alveraz can come back, and they get healthy on the mound, they will contend for a title.

I have never attended any LSU baseball games in Baton Rouge. I have attended games between the Cajuns and LSU in Lafayette.
