The walk-ons are dressed similarly, but on their own dime. I imagine those that can' afford to dress that way may be able to "borrow" from one of older players who have been with the team for a while and have several suits to share. Of course, the fit may not be tailored looking but I bet this happens some of the time.

That's what I was curious about. Tailored suits aren't cheap and football body types typically require some alteration to off the rack suits to fit in the chest and arms (unless you want to look like a balloon)

Pretty sure Troy Wingerter coordinates this effort. They promote this at some QB Club meetings. I forgot the name of the group was the Advance team when I asked the ? but Troy usually leads all these type efforts. Rick can probably tell you more about it if you send him a private message. From what I recall they ask about 1000 dollars per donor.

In my playing days we had nice red blazers, black pants, white shirt with matching tie…..I tried to talk Coach Faulk into getting Beatle type suits and he didn’t care for my idea…..could have been only school in the country…..trying to think of the name of these style threads!
