Just a few comments from some of the football staff after the Advance Team get together Tuesday night at Adopted Dog Brewery:

- Sampson is the best WR in the SBC.
- Walker H. is more athletic than what we saw in the spring game.
- Fastest team on both sides of the ball in 10 years. CMD
- 10 OL will play a lot this season.
- QB room is stocked!
- Fr. QB, Coleman Carter may have the best arm talent in the QB room, and he is very fast, a legit dual threat. He will redshirt this season.
- DL isn't a concern. CJS
- Will play 50/50 man/zone in the secondary, depending on opposition.
- Zylon Perry is a candidate for POY.
- RB room will be very strong this season. Smith and Blanco looked good in the spring.

I know some of these were included in the CMD recap from media day, but some weren't. Some players need to step it up or they will slide down the depth chart. We have good depth/competition across the board. If you went to the spring game, you have to be excited about our chances this season.

By my count, we have 12 linemen over 300lbs. And some are over 6’6”. Thats a lot of beef. Is this common these days, or are we just really big??
