We should probably focus on selling what we have for tailgating currently before opening it up to other areas. We should be focusing on a price point that helps to accomplish that goal, and no. I’m not saying free.

What is this band box?

If we develop the NEZ area specifically the pavilion and bar zone it could double as the Band Box-style experience we’ve been envisioning. That space, located on the back end of the NEZ, would be ideal for tailgating and fan activation, just like in the video I shared earlier.

It could serve both purposes: a vibrant game-day hangout and a tailgating hub. You could easily set up food trucks, pop-up vendors, and interactive fan elements all along that back side.

That’s not a shot at you. The intramural thing was discussed in the early Hud era when things were booming. We also drastically increased our price point in that time. Haven’t seen any adjustments downward now that the area sits empty on Saturdays. It’s a bummer to see for sure. We used to always be able to hang our hats on tailgating.

Gotcha, I know admin wants to charge people to tailgate at stadium, I get that. People say it needs to be more affordable. Naybe they should evaluate a way to make both work.

This is what we need its 16 min., but dont watch the entire thing, that bar is on the back side of the stadium just watch, and this is what i envision as far as tailgating/band box concept. Think of this like being the NEZ back area.
