Thread: Former Texas A&M RHP will transfer to Louisiana

  1. UL Baseball Former Texas A&M RHP will transfer to Louisiana

Texas A&M lost several pitchers to the transfer portal and the 2025 MLB Draft this offseason, including the talented RHP Kyrin Leblanc, who was expected to be a crucial part of the 2025 bullpen but never saw time on the mound and is now headed to Louisiana. No, not LSU.

    Another arm.

I see from his A&M bio that he's from St. Martinville. Anyone have any insight on the kid?

    Ahh...thank you.

I actually did read that last page or so yesterday, but I'm an idiot and for some reason thought it was a continuing conversation about the kid from Oklahoma.

Would be awesome if we can solidify a guy who can throw gas on the mound like Langevin.

The question is where? If they manage to do it over the plate that would be great but plenty of arms with gazzz have been in a Cajun uniform and rarely seen game time action.

Understood, which is why I qualified my potential excitement with "like Langevin". He also had really good movement on that fastball. Wasn't just a straight line across the plate.

This is true. Will be interesting to see how they pan out

Based on the guys Deggs has brought in this off-season it appears he was looking for guys with more velocity. We shall see

He can take a chance on a few of these types of guys because the arm talent is crazy. Now they better have a few guys that are ready to step up this year from the arms from last year or others signed. There is likely a low percentage he will be successful here, but you can't have an entire roster of arms that throw 87-90. JMO
