I’ll let the guys comment on it, but from an outsiders perspective it’s a very positive step. Recent history has shown the university has no interest in working with RR. Having Dr. Maggard on is a bit of a relief.

Listened to the Tech AD. Great interview and a likable guy. Still think they don’t benefit the conference as a whole. It’s a net loss compared to TXST. Only really benefits parts of the West Division. But impressed he came on to talk about it.

Yes. It’s been a long time since anyone affiliated with the university has been on. Gunner was lined up to be on whenever that was (2 years ago?) and got pulled. Crickets since then. This is a nice surprise.

Maggard was on the pod only version years ago with Gerry and Miguez.

This time, he’s on the video version with Nick and myself. Totally different ball game, if you’ve been following this saga since 2017.

I think Cajuns fans far and wide, friend or foe, positive vibes for RR or negative vibes for RR, insiders and outsiders will appreciate the conversation we had with the Boss.

Certainly felt like a step in the right direction but more importantly, we fulfilled our mission in being a conduit for the fans to the admin. I’m most proud about that.

Disagreements with the admin are far easier to stomach when they face the fans and not hide in the shadows. I hope this is a step in the right direction.
