Curious on the etiquette of pod interviews. Do you guys give guests a list of questions ahead of the interview, a high-level list of potential topics, or do they hop on with no idea what will be talked about?

Depends on the guest. Most times, we’ll give a list of questions. For this interview, we gave a list of talking points and the questions we talked about with Ryan Ivey. But, we also ad-lib’d 50% of the hour with follow ups.

We told him before the interview started, it’s pre-recorded for a reason. If you feel like we cross any lines or don’t feel comfortable with a line of questioning, we’ll ax it.
