Glad to see he’s expanded his wine selection because his beer selection is not too good.
Thanks for giving it a shot, Beau.

Did we fly to Texas State? If not, this claim of savings for travel is baseless.

Playing three money road games comes with a cost. And attendance will be one of the costs. Outside of the Redwolves, there is nothing exciting about their schedule.
Nobody is dying to see a MAC school in Cajun Field.

The only time we get non-conference attendance bumps are for in-state schools and brand names like Bama and Boise.

I don't even want to see a MAC school outside of Cajun Field.

We flew for football and stayed in Austin for lodging. Other sports made long bus ride. Basketball flew charter on rare occasions when we found a good deal.

It’s isn’t just us either..there are 5 other schools in the west who won’t have to go to San Marcos also.

If the savings argument concerning Tech was in or out it was a wash.

Louisiana can save just as much money playing Tech out of conference as they can save playing them in conference. So a wash that holds no water.

If however, the savings argument was Texas State (who was gone) vs Tech it's no contest. Louisiana saves much more money playing Tech compared to Texas State.

Maggard said bussing was $110G on the low end and flying could be $300G on the high end. (with ranges in between)

    That adds up.

Moving a scheduled game from out of conference and making it in conference does not result in savings.
