McNeese Athletics set for Big Announcement on Wednesday

[i]LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - McNeese Vice President and Director of Athletics Heath Schroyer is set to make a sizable announcement this coming Wednesday at 3 p.m. over at the Endzone Club located on the second floor of Jack Doland Field House.

The event will be open to the public, and we will have more details as more information develops.[i]

Saw a picture last week of their new pressbox. Had a tarp over part of the stadium name.

They have two big financial items they could sell, the field name and the room the press conference is being held. Both named for legacy figures.

Given their budget is well smaller than ULM’s, realistically moving up is a pipe dream. Naming rights at this point is survival for them.
