    memphis has offered 200 million to join the big 12, supposedly Tulane has as well just not publicly.

    Jokes aside they have terrible timing. If this offer had come when the Big 12 was shopping, they (B12) would have pounced on it.

    The CEO for FedEx is a huge Memphis supporter and is trying to buy it’s way in to the Big12.

    What RedTails said.

    They probably have the cash now (thanks to him) but see it drying up soon.

    They should have made this move when Houston was openly lobbying hard.

    Houston will never bring $250 million to the BIG 12 Conference but what's done is done, and Memphis chance at Steam Boating this through is down the river.
