This brand would have been better for a Gulf States Conference

There will be a lot of moving parts. We all keep saying UL needs to be ready. 2030ish below the A2, serious reshuffling will occur except with the MAC. Mr. Mouse loves MACtion, which has killed the MAC FB wise.

It will be crazy like a few years ago. But keep in mind, schools like Stanford, Vandy and such will survive at A2 because they hold academic gold. AAU membership and votes for future membership.

They should call their conference titles the national championship

"Built to rise"...... hmmmm sounds familiar

But there is an equal chance the upper crust of the AAC poach schools with ample funds (large budgets and large percentages of budget allocated for revenue sharing with athletes) like JMU instead of going primarily for markets. So, it could be a prisoner exchange situation.
Why would teams that the SBC would want take a step down in revenue?

In the Group of Five (G5) conferences, payouts vary significantly. For the 2023-24 season, the American Athletic Conference (AAC) led in total payouts, with Memphis receiving approximately $11 million, while James Madison received the lowest at around $934,873. Other G5 conferences like Conference USA, the Sun Belt, and the MAC generated $50 million, $47 million, and $39 million, respectively. These figures are considerably lower than the Power Five conferences, which generated nearly $3.2 billion.

JMU gets an unequal share??? Is that different than saying texas st should not join PAC if not an equal share.

Or was this before jmu joined?

JMU is in the American? That statement is confusing.
