If I didn’t drive by the stadium or follow RP, I’d be clueless about the new stadium’s status.
Can’t speak to the social media, don’t have time for the distraction.

RP'ers who live locally:
Have we been running TV and radio ads promoting the upcoming football season and where to go to purchase tickets?
I don't listen to local radio (AM or FM) at all anymore, so can't speak on that.
I'm probably in the dying breed of still watching a mixture of local TV news (mostly KLFY and KADN). Haven't seen a TV ad.
They should let KADN's Will Herren do a few of his segments from the new McElligott Club just to start subtly dropping the fact that: 1. FB season is approaching; 2. We have a new stadium
Both TV and radio used to trade time for tickets....when those tickets went unused, there was no value for the stations...
The university has gone the other direction. I see more Ragin Cajun in our branding than I do LOUISIANA especially when it comes to baseball uniforms.
When I worked in radio with giveaways the phones rang off the hook (it didn't matter the item)
I was amazed at the number of unclaimed items though. (it didn't matter what it was)
I still think stations benefit from every single giveaway, claimed or unclaimed. It breaks the monotony of regular programing.
