I don't like the idea of NIL pay-for-play, but I do love supporting our athletes the way I believe NIL was intended. I bought a Russel Babineaux sweatshirt today.

This is what “Name Likeness and Image” was supposed to be. Not Get Gordon paying players to leave UL for LSU, or trial lawyers in Houston paying UL guys to leave for UofH.
Good stuff, literally better deals than the barnes and noble "campus" website
It was also intended for watching their monetized youtube videos
If kids were really worried about their brand, why wouldnt someone named LAnorris come to LA?
These go fund me's for people that get arrested seem to raise money quick and lots of it.... could NIL try that route?
NIL was intended to free players to receive compensation for their NIL from non-school related [non university, non booster] activities such as contracts with shoe or apparel companies [see Caitlin Clark's Nike and State Farm contracts while at Iowa] or monetized social media accounts [see Livvie Dunn while at TSAB]
Great point. See also there was a kicker in florida who had a youtube that ncaa didnt allow and i dont think.it was even about sports. Now that is allowed
