In a nutshell, XBox and PlayStation.

The younger generations weren’t exposed like the older generations. Whether organized or sandlot, older kids as a whole played and understood sports.

Today’s kids are more likely into GTA, COD and Minecraft.

Not necessarily true, but somewhat accurate.

Sports specialization has had a huge negative impact as well.

But our fan base shrinking isn’t caused by either of those.

Amazing with the flipping into a new fiscal year the “sudden” developments with the PAC/MWC dueling lawsuits and Texas State’s “secrets” all coming to light.

That grass might of seemed greener but obviously has a lot of “fertilizer” in play.

This all won’t end well.

They were looking for programs to agree to a moving target. Texas St agreed and are trying to hide their actions from the Legislature and Donors. Sad state for certain.

This initial low share agreement for TX State was known and stated up front.

Still more than the SBC is paying out.
